This was really easy to set up. Al you had to do was fill it with water, squezze the water out, fill it up again and squeeze out again and then fill it up to use. As you sipped on the straw the water would come through the filter at the bottom of the straw. It is so much cheaper to just fill this water bottle instead of buying cases of water. This worked great. We recently took a trip out west and we got sick because of the water. I wish we had had the Sport Berkey then!
