Carmex Healing Cream and Hydrating Lotion Review/Giveaway!

Hello Agents!

How is everyone doing this afternoon?  We are all doing great! This afternoon we are meeting my older brother at the local gym to play racquetball.

Don't you hate how your hands start to feel during the winter?  Seriously!  I really don't care for using a hand lotion that much, so usually my hands get pretty raw and cracked (and sometimes even start bleeding).  Not this winter!  This winter I received a Carmex Healing Cream and a Carmex Hydrating Lotion for review from Carmex.  This is seriously the only lotion I don't mind using!

These are really great!  Between the cold air from Winter, and TaeKwonDo classes (breaking boards, practicing bo-staff, etc.), my hands have been pretty bad.  I used the healing cream for a little while to help my raw hands...

And then I started using the hydrating lotion.  They both work really great.  One of the things I usually hate about lotion is that the make your hands really greasy... not with Carmex!  You can feel right away that Carmex is on (yes, my family can tell after I have used it), but they aren't greasy and gross.

Carmex also sent me an exclusive yellow Carmex hoodie jacket!  It is really nice (it is a little heavier than most, and oh so soft and comfortable).  I love it!

Carmex Review

Hello!

How has everyone been?  It has been getting pretty busy here lately, and my lips have really been chapping and hurting.  Then I received two sticks of healing chapstick from Carmex.  Just in time!

I kept one of these for myself, and then I gave my second one to my sister.  She tried it out, and both of us love how it is thicker than most.  Just like lotion for lips!  It has a Orange flavor (almost like those Cream-sicles) that makes it smell really good.

Because of my allergies (stuffed nose which means mouth breathing) my lips have been getting really dry overnight.  I used this once the other night before bed, and then once when I woke up in the middle of the night.  The next morning they felt great!  They weren't hurting anymore (yes!), and they weren't dry.

Carmex has some really great items.  I always enjoy reviewing their products.  They would make a great little gift.  Make sure you check them out!

Here is a little bit about Carmex :
"Alfred Woelbing was a buyer at a Chicago department store back in 1937, but he didn’t much like working in the big city. So he began his own business, making silver polish in the basement of his home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. It paid the bills, for the time being.

Always curious, always inventive, Alfred then decided to create a home remedy for a pesky condition that he’d often suffered: cold sores. After much experimentation over a hot plate, Alfred created Carmex, and then proceeded to sell it to pharmacies by going door to door. If they weren’t interested in purchasing his product, he gave them a dozen jars for free—along with a post card for a re-order. He figured that if he could sell one jar at every drug store in Milwaukee and Chicago, he and his wife could make a decent living.

It wasn’t long before Alfred’s home-based business was booming. Apart from a wartime hiatus in production due to lanolin rationing, Alfred’s company—now known as Carma Labs—grew steadily. For 35 years, Alfred made sales calls in Wisconsin, Illinois and parts of Indiana. He remained president of the company until his death in May, 2001.

Now Carma Labs is managed by Alfred’s grandsons Paul Woelbing (President) and Eric Woelbing (CEO). This new generation of Woelbings has overseen several major innovations, including the introduction of new lip balm flavors; a lip balm line for women, Carmex Moisture Plus™ ultra hydrating lip balm; and a line of Carmex skin care products.

In 2009, Chairman Don Woelbing passed away. Carma Laboratories continues to be a family-owned and operated company led by grandsons Paul and Eric, the third generation of the Woelbing family."

These are really nice! I LOVE Carmex! I have at least five of these in my purse! These really work. My Mom is always borrowing them!
