How is everyone doing this afternoon? We woke up this morning and it was freezing! The dogs water buckets were totally frozen!
Anyway, back to the subject - how many times while traveling has someone in your group left their razor or shaving cream? I know it has happened in our family A LOT! Just on this last trip to Florida the males in the family had to pick up some razors, because they forgot theirs. Another thing that often gets left behind is toothbrushes.
The trip to Florida this year was really, really good. We got to spend a lot of time with our friends down south this trip. We went bowling with them, got together and played volleyball several times, went over to their house for dinner several times, etc. It was really nice!
We also got to visit a few (okay, quite a few :), amusement parks on this trip. We visited a local aquarium (where I got to pet stingrays, took some beautiful pictures of the dolphins while they were doing a training session, etc.), then we visited a larger amusement park where they had several really good roller coasters that was really neat! It was a lot of fun. We would go back and forth between the roller coasters, and then do the smaller rides in between them. We also visited a couple of other amusement parks and attractions.
It took a little longer than we were planning on to get home because of the snow storms, but we arrived home (finally - yeah!) last week. The dogs are really enjoying having everyone here. When we walked in the door the dogs started greeting everyone and licking them. Since we arrived home we have been unpacking the vehicle and trailer, and getting everything back into it's place. Yesterday we took a break and went out for some fun! We visited all the thrift stores, stopped in at the bookstore, and then went bowling!
What does your family do when you just want to take a break for a day? Do you just go out for a little treat, or visit the park, or go out for something special that your family likes to do together? Leave a comment below and let us know!
