Organic Oscar Review/Giveaway! #Petacular

Hello Agents!

This post is from At the Fence and the sponsor is Organic Oscar!  Princess Pansy looks so much better after her bath... doesn't she?

Here is our next Petacular Event sponsor, Organic Oscar!  We used Organic Oscar on Pansy.  She is our daintiest Sheltie, but this winter has really been making her itchy.  I think it is affecting all of us in the house that way.  Anyway, she is due to have puppies soon, so we wanted to bathe her before the pups were born.  She isn't due for 2 1/2 more weeks, but I would rather do this now, then closer to her date.  Since she is an inside dog, we walked her first and then bathed her, so she would dry before she needed walked again.  She is so easy to bathe.

I liked using the Organic Oscar on her because it is natural, biodegradable and of course, organic.  Organic Oscar has 6 shampoos and conditioners all of which have:
No Soap
No Paraben
No Sulfates
No Phthalates
No Dyes
No Artificial Fragrances
No Petroleum-Based Ingredients
This is why I wanted to use the Organic Oscar on Pansy.  The bone-shaped bottles are nice too!

With Organic Oscar "It's not what we do, but why."
Organic Oscar was founded by concerned pet parent, Marie Svet, shortly after leaving Europe for California in 2007. Upon settling in California, she fell in love with its health-conscious lifestyle. She ate at restaurants and shopped at stores that complemented her desire to lead a healthy life. However, when it came to pet grooming products for her puppies’ needs, she wasn’t as lucky.
Marie looked high and low but couldn’t find a dog shampoo or conditioner for her dogs’ sensitive skin. She wanted to give her pups the same treatment she would give any other member of the family. And, from that desire, Organic Oscar was born. Marie drew upon her decade of experience in the cosmetics and perfume industry to formulate a high-quality organic pet shampoo affordable for pet lovers.
Because your pooch depends on you, Organic Oscar is the answer to grooming your dog with the same kind of gentle products that you would use for your own hair and skin.

Now, here is something I like that has nothing to do with them being organic, I LOVE the pump.  I don't know how many times when washing one of our Shelties I am trying to hold a dog with one hand and struggle with the bottle with the other hand.  The pump is so easy to use.  Just set it on the side of the tub and reach over when you need more.  Not to mention all the times a bottle of open shampoo or conditioner has fallen in the water or off the side of the tub.  That is not going to happen with Organic Oscar.  Well, it can fall in, but it won't fill with water or spill all over.

We received the Organic Oscar Shampoo with Organic Oatmeal and the Conditioner with Organic Aloe Vera. Here are their descriptions:
Oatmeal Shampoo - Fused with organic leaf extracts to soothe your dog's sensitive skin.  Replenishes itchy or dry skin with moisturizers and organic oatmeal.  Nourishes and restores shine, keeping your pet's fur healthy and soft.
Aloe Vera Conditioner - Great for dogs with dry or sensitive skin. Formulated in the spirit of caring for you, your dog, and the environment.  Calms with organic aloe vera and moisturizes with organic jojoba oil. Protects your pet's coat from the environment, leaving it smoother and softer.

So, we started off by getting her entire coat wet.  Then we gently massaged in the Oatmeal Shampoo.  After working it thoroughly into her fur, we rinsed her off, making sure to remove all shampoo.  Next we worked in the conditioner making sure to leave in on for a couple of minutes.  After rinsing completely she was towel dried and allowed to air dry the rest of the way.  Once she was completely dry we brushed and combed her out.  She looks great!  Her fur feels really soft and looks shiny.

Look how nice Pansy looks after her bath!  Thank you Organic Oscar!  See how smooth her furs looks and how white her ruff is!

Organic Oscar will be sending a Petacular reader a set of shampoo and conditioner.  Please be sure to follow them on their social media sites and then share about their products!

The Holistic bite and itch shampoo and the Aloe conditioner. I love holistic options and I really fear flea shampoos, so this is a wonderful discovery. Using a safe conditioner on my dogs sounds like a great idea! I love my furrbabies :)

I have one with sensitive skin so I'd use the Organic Oatmeal Shampoo on both of them.
