LEGOLAND Florida is GREAT!

Hello Agents!

How many of you have ever visited Legoland?  We have!  We just visited the LEGOLAND Florida on our yearly Florida trip.  We arrived about opening time, and headed in.  This is a really neat amusement park.  All throughout the park there are lifesize lego figures/statues.  The first ride we did is the Factory X.  My little sister LOVES all sorts of roller coasters, so she really enjoyed the drop on this one.

Here is a quick video of the different lego figures and animals around the park...

We rode the Factory X several times, and then headed over to the AQUZONE Wave Racers.  This one was also very fun.  You stand up (each person separately unless if you have a little one), and you can steer with the wheel.  Water blasts up and will get you wet unless if you steer yourself out of the way!

Then we walked through the Miniland USA section.  This was really neat!  There are several sections (some of which are : Florida, the Kennedy Space Center, Washington DC, New York, etc.).

Here is a little bit about LEGOLAND Florida... "LEGOLAND® Florida, Central Florida’s newest theme park, is a 150-acre, full two-day interactive family theme park specifically designed for families with children ages 2 to 12. The largest LEGOLAND Park in the world, it features more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, restaurants, shopping, a breathtaking botanical garden and the all-new LEGOLAND Water Park.   Just 45 minutes from Orlando and downtown Tampa, LEGOLAND Florida rests along the shores of Lake Eloise in the city of Winter Haven. Here guests can enjoy 10 easy-to-navigate and highly-themed zones that include pink-knuckle roller coasters, Miniland USA, the Imagination Zone and LEGO City where youngsters can learn how to drive by freely navigating their own boats and LEGO cars.   The all-new LEGOLAND Water Park is a “park within a park” and provides splish-splashin’ fun for the whole family. Main attractions include the Build-A-Raft River where guests can build their own LEGO raft and float down the 1,000-foot lazy river or play for hours at the Joker Soaker water playground. Other attractions include the LEGO Wave Pool, five slippery-fast water slides and the DUPLO® Splash Safari, a toddler-haven with perfectly-sized slides and a zero-depth wading pool."

Here is a quick slideshow of some of the rides that we rode at LEGOLAND Florida!  I really don't have any pictures of us on the rides, because everyone rode every ride!

Next we headed over to the Coastersaurus.  This roller coaster (located in the Land of Adventure), "curves and dips in and around a prehistoric jungle of animated and life-sized LEGO brick dinosaurs".  M. LOVED seeing all the Lego Dinosaurs while riding on this coaster!

Then we rode the Flying School (this roller coaster is located in LEGO City).  This one was our favorite!  It is a "suspended steel coaster that lets kids experience the thrill of flight".  You strap yourself into the seat (there is no floor!) and then take off - there are lots of twists and spins and it goes fast!

This is a really neat amusement park.  Make sure if you ever visit Florida to go check out LEGOLAND Florida!  Your family will really enjoy it.  You can Like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter to stay up with the latest news and deals!

"I received no monetary compensation for this review post.  I did receive two tickets for free admission to LEGOLAND Florida for review purposes."

Traveling is Great with Peacable Kingdom!

Hey Agents!

Here is another great item to have for your children on road trips!  These travel items today are from Peaceable Kingdom! How many times on a road trip have you wished for a new activity for your children?  These would be perfect!  There is a Dinosaur Sticker Activity Book, and two sets of stickers (these are 3-D!).  We pulled these out on the trip back, so that my little sister would have something new to keep her from being bored.  Make sure you head over to At the Fence and enter the giveaway!

Galison Mudpuppy Review/Giveaway!

Hey Agents!

So good to have a minute to investigate some more travel products with all my agents here at PI of Products.  We have been really busy.  Now, let me share with you about traveling with Galison Mudpuppy, and no I am not referring to one of my brothers or sisters, or one of our dogs.  Galison Mudpuppy is a company that has some really fascinating toys and games for children, among other things.  We were able to bring a few Galison Mudpuppy products with us on this trip.

First off is an adorable Cupcakes Diary ($10.99).  Perfect for recording highlights of our trip.  And my little sister loves that it has it's own lock and key to prevent prying brothers from reading what she has written.  In the front is a place to put her name.  Each lined page, in pink of course, has hearts and a cupcake.  How sweet!  This is the perfect size to slip into a purse or backpack for travel.  She has used it a lot on the trip, and has enjoyed being able to have somewhere to keep track of special memories.

Next from Galison Mudpuppy is the Sweet Treats Double Draw ($9.99).  Entertainment for when the trip starts to get a little boring, or when you are sitting in a restaurant waiting for your meal.  This little book can be a whole lot of fun!  The book opens in the center and the pages are half pages on each side of the book.  Every other page is a blank page, so you can complete the drawing!  One half will have a half picture of a sweet treat and your child can finish the drawing themselves.  They can draw the right half, or change and draw the left half.  They can put two blank pages together and draw their own sweet treat.  Or they can match them up and color them.  You can even mix them up and color them!  Definitely a great book for a trip!

Last on our list from Galison Mudpuppy this trip is the Sweet & Treats Magnetic Design Set ($16.99).  Another great item for keeping children entertained while traveling or sitting at a table.  (Even when visiting relatives!)  The Sweet & Treats Magnetic Design Set comes stored inside a tin.  The tin is not only the carrying case, but it is your child's play space as well.

Inside the tin are 3 sheets of magnetic pieces, all kinds of sweet treats.

Also included are 2 double-sided play scenes for your child to decorate and design.

Just pop out the magnetic play pieces, place your choice of scene in the top or bottom of the tin and begin decorating.  This should provide hours of fun for your child on the road.  They can design a scene, take it apart and start over, or choose a new background and begin a new design.  Cake, cupcakes, strawberries, cookies, and candies galore to decorate with.  When done, they just place everything back into the tin for next time!

Each of these items from Galison Mudpuppy were perfect for the trip and made the time in the vehicle more enjoyable.  They gave my little sister extra things to do both while traveling and later in the hotel room or at a restaurant.  Thank you Mudpuppy for providing these for our Florida in February Event.

A little about Galison Mudpuppy:
Galison was founded in 1979 to work with museums to make their imagery widely available in the form of well-designed and manufactured paper products. We published some books and calendars before focusing on boxed notecards, fine art stationery, greeting cards, personalized Christmas cards (for individuals and businesses), note cards, journals, and other gift products for writers. Until recently, we did business as GMG Publishing, and were known in the trade as Galison Books, Galison, or Galison/Mudpuppy.

Although we use a lot of fresh, contemporary designs, we maintain a core group of products using fine art images, and both Galison and Mudpuppy products are popular in museum stores. Our fine art stationery is also found in the best gift, stationery, book, and department stores.

Mudpuppy Press was launched in 1992. From an early specialization in puzzles, we expanded to our current award-winning offering of puzzles, journals, diaries, educational games, toys, and stationery gifts for children and the young at heart.

Now the really, great news is, one agent/neighbor will receive the same set we did.  (I am going to check and see if there is an equivalent set should you want one for a boy.)  I will try and add that to this post.

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive 3 items from Galison Mudpuppy for review purposes.  All quotes are taken directly from the sponsor's email or website.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Don't Forget Energizer! Review/Giveaway

Hey Agents!

Florida in February is Fabulous!  We are having a super time.  Presently we are staying at a resort hotel (you will hear more about that later).  First I want to share a really handy product to have with you on a trip.  It is the Energizer Dual Universal USB Charger.  This turns your car outlet into a charging station!  This means you can charge your phone, iPod, iPad, etc. as long as it can be charged via USB.  And the good news is you can charge two items at the same time.

When you consider my family, we have several items that constantly need charging.  We have 4 phones with us this trip, along with 3 iPods, 2 tablets, 1 iPad, and a couple MP3 players.  We have to take turns using the USB Charger!  We could use a couple of these!

Anyway, how many times on a trip, or otherwise have you wished you had a place to recharge a phone, MP3 Player or iPod?  I have.  We have even asked restaurants if we could plug in while we are dining just to get enough of a charge to help keep us going.  I know, I know, what did we do before all the little electronic gadgets?  We waited to use a pay phone or until we arrived at our destination. And now we get frustrated if our electronics don't work how we want, when we want.  AMAZING!

From Energizer:
Energizer® Universal USB Chargers can turn your outlets into a USB charging station. Compact and lightweight, the dual charger is designed to charge up to two devices at the same time. Now you can charge devices from multiple manufacturers with one charger. At home or on the move, Energizer Universal USB Chargers keep your devices charged and ready to help you get through the day.

Anyway if you are planning a trip soon, or just happen to use your small electronics in the vehicle all the time, you might want to check into the Dual Universal USB Charger.  They also have a single one available for those who need it.  Energizer has many other handy products for trips, including flashlights, batteries, nightlights, etc.

One agent/neighbor will receive their own Energizer Dual Universal USB Charger.

Disclosure:I received no monetary compensation for this post.  I did receive an Energizer USB Charger for review purposes.  All quotes in red are taken from the sponsor's email or website.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Florida In February with Jiffy Lube! Review/Giveaway

NOTICE : THIS GIVEAWAY HAS BEEN EXTENDED ONE WEEK (ENDS 2/22)!

Hello Agents!

As you all know we are on our way to Florida!   Yeah!  We have so many great plans in the works.  My dad will be preaching at some churches, love to get to see old friends!  Then of course we have some fun activities planned too!  Keep checking back at PI of Products to see.

Of course when planning a trip we always want to make sure our vehicle is ready to go.  Tires checked, engine checked and of course we get an oil and lube.  Of course when we do anything like this we want to go to someone we trust.  For an oil change my dad prefers Jiffy Lube.  A chain that is well-known and established.  They are also all over the country, and when you travel that is a great benefit.  We try to find a large well-known company for all our automotive needs so we can get taken care of no matter where we may be.

We have never had a problem with Jiffy Lube.  They are always courteous and not pushy when it comes to offering their other services.  Not only do they do a good job, they do it quickly.  My only complaint?  Because they are so good, occasionally they have a line.

Now, here is an idea.  Give Jiffy Lube gift card!  We received a $40 Jiffy Lube gift card for our Florida in February event.  Of course we want the vehicle ready to go.  We will have put over 3,000 miles on the vehicle by the time we are done.

Look at some of the benefits of a Jiffy Lube gift card:
No expiration date or fees
The gift card can be set for any monetary denomination ($10 - $300)
Redeemable toward goods or services at any participating Jiffy Lube location

Have any of my agents ever visited the Jiffy Lube website?  They have an overwhelming amount of information available for the traveler.  From beginning drivers to family travel tips, you can find all this information in their Knowledge Center.

Take a glance at the Jiffy Lube Pledge:

Leave Worry BehindSM

At Jiffy Lube®, we believe you deserve to be free from the anxiety of keeping your vehicle in top shape. Most importantly, we believe you deserve a service provider you can trust. Our pledge is to help keep your vehicle running for the long haul, so you can Leave Worry BehindSM.

At over 2,000 Jiffy Lube® service centers across North America, more than 20,000 technicians complete the award-winning Jiffy Lube® training program to help get the job done right. We use vehicle manufacturer recommendations to inform you of the preventive maintenance your vehicle needs to help protect your investment. We keep all service records on file so that, no matter which Jiffy Lube® location you visit, you can be assured of a consistent, quality experience. This is our pledge to you.

This is why my dad trusts Jiffy Lube.  He has a regular maintenance schedule for our vehicles.  Very seldom does he go past the due date for an oil and lube.  With traveling so often, he likes to make sure to do the regular maintenance to prevent other problems.

Now, here is the great news!  Jiffy Lube not only sent us a gift card to make our Florida vacation a good one, but they also planned a $40 Jiffy Lube Gift Card for a giveaway to one of my agents!  Be sure to enter!

Funny Lawn Signs!

Hello Agents!

How many of you have seen some funny lawn signs?  We have!  Since we travel so much we have seen a lot of funny signs... and I mean FUNNY signs!

Right now we are planning our trip to Florida (in February) including where we are staying each night, what attractions we would like to visit and when, etc.  We have also been deciding what we need to bring, and all those other little necessary things.  I received a really nice little camera as a gift, so I will of course bring it on the trip and snap photos of any more funny or humorous signs, bumper stickers, etc.

The sign below we saw while taking a trip to Chicago.  We stopped at a gas station for a quick bathroom stop and to grab some drinks.  It looks like an ordinary sign at first glance, but then you realize they are advertising two pizza slices... for only five hundred dollars!

Another sign we saw, really wouldn't have been that funny, except that I have sisters. :)  There was a sign for Tow Zone, so she thought she would be funny and put her toe in the toe (tow) zone...

We have also seen some other really funny signs.  Like one on a shopping cart that said all items in cart half price... but there wasn't anything in the cart!  Then there was another sign that was advertising that the DVD would be available on the 23th (instead of available on the 23rd).  We have also seen bumper stickers that say "Guns Don't Kill People - Dads With Pretty Daughters Do"or "DADD -Dads Against Dating Daughters".  The one day when we were traveling we stopped for some drinks and saw a storage unit company behind the local Burger King... and it was called "Storage Units Behind Burger King".  Anyway, those are just a couple odd or funny signs/bumper stickers that we have seen in our many travels.  Have you seen or heard of any funny or humorous signs?  If so leave a comment below and let us know so we can all laugh. :)

This is a sponsored post, but all thoughts, opinions, and pictures are mine.
