About Us
About Us
Jacob Bromwell is a specialty housewares company that manufactures authentic campfire, kitchen, and fireplace products for families of yesterday, today, and for generations to come. As America's oldest housewares company established in 1819, we offer a select group of timeless products that modernization has not improved. Our classic products take people on an emotional journey into nostalgia and tradition, and allow them to find joy in the simple and genuine American past as an antidote to our over-perfected modern lifestyle.
Our Mission
Jacob Bromwell was founded in 1819 on the promise to produce authentic, handcrafted housewares that deliver a unique American experience for explorers, adventurers, homemakers, and traditionalists everywhere. This mission rings true today, over 190 years later.
Our Product Philosophy
Jacob Bromwell products are pretty darn unique and unlike anything else on the market! Yet it’s what our products stand for that has allowed Jacob Bromwell to remain in business for over 190 years, and it’s this same purpose that will allow this iconic American company to flourish for generations to come.
Simply put, our products let folks experience the traditional values and virtues of our pioneer past. And they speak to a time when rugged individualism, good citizenship, and the entrepreneurial spirit were synonymous with American culture.
Jacob Bromwell is one of America's oldest stories, and we’re continuing to write it as we go along. That’s the real philosophy behind the products we make – keeping our product line alive as an anchor for future generations.
Our History
Back in 1819, Jacob Bromwell had an idea: create the highest quality cooking, baking, and campfire products that American families could count on to last generations. So he traveled from his home in Baltimore, Maryland, to set up shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. His factory manufactured everything from flour sifters, cheese graters, and frying pans, to buckets and popcorn poppers. Today, this all-American company is recognized as America’s Oldest Cookware™. All Jacob Bromwell products continue to be handcrafted in the USA and are backed by a Lifetime Guarantee.
