Packing our Bathroom Bags for the Trip - Does Your Husband/Brother Bring a Shaving Brush?

Hello Agents!

We are getting ready to take our yearly trip to Florida.  We will be stopping in to see several churches/friends and making it a family fun time by visiting some different attractions (amusement parks, museums, etc.).  Since we leave soon everyone is starting to pack their clothing bags, bathroom bags, book bags, shoes, re-organizing purse, making sure the vehicles are ready to use, etc.  We also had some last minute changes, so we are trying to get all that organized before we leave.

Do you ever have to remind your husband or brother to pack their badger shaving brush in their bathroom bag?  We (the girls of course:) always have to remind the males in the family to bring their toothbrush!  All too often (even after several of us reminding them) we get to our destination the first night out only to find out that someone left their toothbrush behind!

On a longer trip my bathroom bag always includes - shampoo, conditioner, body soap (I have to have a certain type because I react to most body soaps), a healing hand lotion (my hands get really dry and start cracking), Cortizone cream (for if I do react to something I touched/leaned against/used/etc.), a favorite body spray (a couple of my favorites are a Warm Vanilla Sugar, a Peppermint spray my brothers bought for me, and a floral scent my sister gave me), a detangling hair spray, a hair gel/mousse/spray, etc.  I also make sure to bring my Bible of course, an assortment of hair accessories, some jewelry, a comfortable pair of walking shoes, a baseball cap (for out in the sun!), sunscreen,  hand sanitizer, some snacks for on the road, a book bag (for those long and boring traveling days), an extra iPod charging cord, a wall charger, extra batteries/memory cards for the cameras and camcorders, at least a light jacket, a notebook for games/little notes that are taken on the go, etc.

Are there any items that are a necessity for your family on a road trip?  Leave a comment and let us know!

This is a sponsored post.  All thoughts and opinions are mine.
